Anyone who has been involved in a love triangle will tell you it is no laughing matter.

Such a dilemma inspired Heavy Jansport, the new song from deejay Jr Stinga.

Released in June by Krayv Music, it warns about the dangers of stealing love on the side.

“I was in a relationship. Well, not really a relationship, I was jus’ having some fun an’ di man find out an’ start to threaten mi,” Jr Stinga recalled.

Heavy Jansport is accompanied by a video depicting how young women are tempted to ‘bun’ their lovers by promises from a paramour with means.

With a number of love triangles in Jamaica ending tragically, Krayv Music and Jr Stinga produced a visual to reinforce Heavy Jansport’s point.

“The video complements di song. Watching it actually shows di message I’m trying to bring across to di audience. Like how to react when cheated on; don’t carry feelings, just find someone else,” said Jr Stinga.

From east Kingston, Jr Stinga has been active musically since his years at Mona High School. He began recording music seriously in 2021, with several of his songs, including
Champion Gallis, Ghetto Life and Dear Ex, also produced by Krayv Music.
