The team consists of 32 women and 34 men competing in sprints, middle distance and relay races, as well as jumps and throws events.

The JAAA is also sending a management team comprising 10 personnel, and six medical personnel, while nine personal coaches will also travel with their respective athletes.

The squad, which was announced on Sunday afternoon, was picked based on performances at the JAAA/Puma National Senior Championships at the National Stadium last month.
