Dancehall artiste Santos3rd is ready to take his place in the spotlight.

“My mother is the reason why I am an artiste; she’s my biggest inspiration, she was a magnificent singer. I grew up watching her singing at weddings and other events. She’s the one who encouraged me to pursue a music career. With her approval, I started deejaying and going to the studio from an early age. Over the years I’ve gathered much experience as a recording artiste. I’ve also learned about engineering and music production and now I am ready to show the world what I can do,” he said.

The St Ann-born deejay is enjoying much attention with a hot new single titled Cateleya.

The song which was produced by Kholtan Entertainment and Kennedy Clan was released along with visuals on June 22.

“I’m pleased with the response that my new single is getting. It’s receiving strong support from DJs all over the world. It’s only been out over a week now and it’s already received over a 100,000 hits on YouTube,” said Santos3rd.

Cataleya was engineered by Onefiix Entertainment and mastered by Brilli Productions. The visuals for the song were filmed and edited by Cinema Labs JA.

Santos3rd (given name Lamoy Burke) hails from Warrick Mount, St Ann. He made his début under the stage name Dossantos with the release of a single titled Tightest on Sasaine Music Records imprint 2014.

Some of his other songs are Wey Yuh A Rock, Runner, and Young and Boasy.
