Althea Hewitt among headliners for Pure White on The Estate in New York
The 12th Pure White on The Estate takes place on July 28 at VIP Country Club in Davenport, New Rochelle, New York.
Billed as ‘A Tiffany Experience’, promoters of the popular event promise it will be their grandest yet.
“We’re going big for 2024,” said Maxine Greaves of Gmax Entertainment. “Over the years we have always tried to outdo our last effort and this year will be no different. We have put together an exciting celebration for patrons. We are inviting everyone to come out and enjoy themselves.”
Singer Althea Hewitt, and veteran bassist Derrick Barnett and his Statement Band are headliners for the show, with DJ Bandit and DJ Roy manning the turntables.
Greaves expects patrons to be bowled over by the location.
“Besides being a sprawling property in the affluent Westchester community, it is a waterfront property that offers stunning, breathtaking views of the Long Island Sound and surrounding scenery and boasts superior amenities that will create memories that will last a lifetime” she said.
Hewitt, who has two albums to her credit, is best known for songs such as Stronger and Do Me Baby. She has a strong following among the Jamaican Diaspora in New York.
The same can be said for the Statement Band which is led by the energetic Barnett, one of dancehall music’s most influential bass guitarists.
