Pay as you go sorted

Dear Claudienne,

Keep up the awesome work you are doing. I am writing to you about a long-standing issue with a JPS prepaid meter. Whenever I purchase a voucher for my JPS pay as you go account, the text message and the receipt information are sent to two different telephone numbers.

I have called JPS customer service at 1876-926-3190-9 several times and requested them to update the telephone number to which the text message and receipt information is sent. I have asked them to send the text message and receipt information to the telephone number ending with -38xx.

Nonetheless when I purchased credit at a local gas station in Clarendon, a man showed me a receipt he received from JPS for the electricity I had purchased.

Please help me to get the JPS to send the text messages and purchase receipts to the phone number that ends with -38xx.

AG

Dear AG,

Tell Claudienne contacted a senior director at JPS about your concerns.
Tell Claudienne received the following e-mail from the senior director at the JPS re the matter.

“The customer’s preferred telephone number ending with (-38xx) to receive both the text alert and receipt information has now been updated in the systems of the Pay-As-you-Go prepaid service. These confirmation messages will now be received via this number. Consequently the previous telephone number on record (ending with -09xx) is no longer associated with the account and has been removed from the system.”

We wish you all the best.
