WATCH: Manning Cup champions Mona tout ‘strong and powerful’ squad in repeat bid

Having got hold of their first ISSA/Digicel Manning Cup last year, defending champions Mona High have their sights set on earning more silverware in the upcoming 2024 season with an experienced team boasting many returning players.

“We have a pretty strong and powerful squad coming back and we are looking forward to the tournament,” Craig Butler, head coach of Mona, told Observer Online at the launch of the schoolboy football competition at the Stadium East complex on Wednesday.

Dante Peralto, Robino Gordon and Denzel McKenzie are among the returning players expected to lead the title chase for the Mona Road, St Andrew-based school.
