Fashion meets dancehall! That’s how officials from The Bridge Official and footballer-turned-music-producer Kyle Butler describes their latest partnership.

In a move that perfectly fuses fashion and music, Butler and The Bridge have created a clothing line dubbed Bridge Dynasty — a merch line of all-black pieces that exudes exclusivity.

“Dynasty Global is the name of Kyle’s record label. Merging the two names was a no-brainer. Besides, it does have a ring to it. Bridge Dynasty just sounds like we are giving Bridgers a real exclusive product,” Duséan Bridge told the Jamaica Observer.

“Kyle is ambitious, like myself. Has big dreams and has done a lot of work with entertainers and musicians, likewise us as a brand. It aligned well and so we said why not now?”

Bridge, recounting how seamlessly the project came together, said cross-pollination between industries in the creative sector fosters growth. He highlights how much more can be achieved when creatives push and promote each other.

“Stronger together is my motto. People at the top are collaborating while people at the bottom are competing. The Bridge community, dubbed Bridgers, have always worn our pieces to feel a part of an exclusive community, a brotherhood, a movement. The music industry should also give off that energy and, since fashion is a huge part of that industry, so why not use it to do just that?” he said.

He noted that the partnership will yield success as the music/fashion formula has flourished before through collaborations with Shaneil Muir, Armanii and Jahvinci. The latter, Butler admitted, piqued his initial interest.

“Dynasty joined forces with The Bridge because we felt like the brands aligned with each other. The Bridge has worked very hard for a long time to make a name in the fashion industry and Dynasty is doing the same on the music side,” he said.

He continued: “To me, fashion, sports and music they all go together, and so this is good so people can see a different side of me. The pieces are unique. They give luxury, but also comfy and timeless all in one. Honestly, this is just the beginning for me as far as fashion partnerships go.”

Bridge Dynasty features hoodies, T-shirts, and long sleeve pieces that cater to both the fashion-savvy individual and the music-loving recluse seeking luxury but comfort at the same time.
