Juventus, Napoli clash in thrilling Serie A contest

Man City, Arsenal in mouth-watering clash in EPL action

Italian heavyweights Juventus and Napoli will go head-to-head in a massive Serie A clash this Saturday, then the Premier League’s two big hitters, Manchester City and Arsenal, will treat fans to a mouth-watering super Sunday showdown at the Etihad Stadium.

Event # 1 – Serie A – Juventus vs Napoli – 11:00 AM

Serie A heavyweights and in-form teams Juventus and Napoli will meet at the Allianz Stadium in what should be an enthralling encounter tomorrow, Saturday, September 21. Juventus currently sit fourth in the table after four rounds, winning two and drawing two of their first four matches so far this season. Having won three of their previous six home games, Juventus warmed up for this vital clash with an impressive 3-1 beating of PSV Eindhoven in Champions League in midweek.

Napoli, on the other hand, seems to have shaken off their poor form from last season and have started the new campaign in excellent form, winning three and losing one of their opening four matches to sit second in the table. With that said, Napoli have held the upper hand in recent times in this matchup but their form away from will need to improve as they were dismantled 3-0 on the road by lowly Verona in their only loss of the season so far. This game promises to be an intriguing affair as Juventus enter this game off the back of a disappointing 0-0 away draw against Empoli, while Napoli thrashed Cagliari 4-0 ahead of this showdown.

Key Stats

• Juventus – Juventus have made an unbeaten start to the new season winning two and drawing two of their first four games.

• Napoli – Napoli, on the other hand, have won three and lost one of their opening four matches.

• Both sides – Juventus have won six of their last 10 home matches while drawing the other four, while Napoli have won just three of their last 10 away matches in all competitions.

The betting Tip. Juventus win.

Event # EPL – Manchester City vs Arsenal – 10:30 AM

The Premier League’s two heavyweights, Manchester City and Arsenal, will treat fans to a mouth-watering super Sunday shootout at the Etihad this Sunday, as the defending champions, Manchester City, aims to maintain their unbeaten start to the season. Indeed, Manchester City have started the season in ominous form, scoring goals for fun, with top sharpshooter Erling Haaland netting nine goals in just four matches so far. Even though they got a scare when conceding an early goal against Brentford at the weekend, City eventually came roaring back to win 2-1 and maintained their impressive start to the new campaign. The win marked the first time since November 2019 that City have recorded back-to-back wins despite having conceded the opening goal. Indeed, this will be a pivotal early season clash between the two title contenders with City looking to maintain their impressive unbeaten 23 matches on home soil.

Arsenal, on the other hand, pushed champions Manchester City the closest last season and lost only by a point on the final day of the season. They have started the season unbeaten in their opening four games with the only blemish being a 1-1 home draw against Brighton. However, they quickly put that setback behind them by beating Tottenham 1-0 last weekend in their north London derby, to signal their intent that they intend to fight for the title this season. The win against Tottenham made it six straight for Arsenal on the road, marking the first time since 2013 that they have achieved this impressive feat. However, worryingly for Arsenal fans is the fact that they haven’t defeated Manchester City away from home in the league since 2015. Last season’s draw at the Etihad was the first point they have taken at City’s ground since May 2016.

Key Stats

• Manchester City – Manchester City are unbeaten at home in their last 23 matches in all competitions. Indeed, Manchester City are unbeaten in their last six Premier League matches and have scored at least one goal for 22 consecutive matches.

• Arsenal – Arsenal last away win at Manchester City was in 2015. However, they went unbeaten against City last season and are unbeaten in their last six overall matches.

• Both sides – When both teams met in the reverse fixture last season, Arsenal won 1-0 at home and drew at the Etihad to go unbeaten against Manchester City last season.
