After 20 years of living abroad, public relations expert Lyndon Taylor returned home on September 20 to launch Lyndon Taylor & Associates — a boutique media and public relations consulting agency — in Jamaica. The Jamaica launch comes a few months after the New York launch on July 19.

“I’ve returned home to share my expertise and passion with the community that nurtured me,” said Taylor to a group of family, friends, and supporters last Friday. The group had gathered at Pollyanna Caterers to celebrate the special moment.

“My journey began two decades ago in the vibrant city of New York, where I honed my craft, working with top-tier clients and learning from the best. I’ve had the privilege of representing icons, managing crises, and crafting narratives that shape public opinion. However, despite the prestige and success, I felt an unrelenting call to return home. Jamaica is more than just a place of origin; it’s the source of my creativity, resilience, and values. I wanted to bring my expertise back to the people and businesses that need it most,” he continued.

The intimate gathering also heard remarks from those instrumental to Taylor’s career development: his “work mum” Sandra Graham, Marva Bernard, Paula-Anne Porter, and Carole Beckford, who sent her congratulations via telephone.
