Pure Ultra Lounge for Refined Cuisine

Just a whisper away from Montego Bay’s frenetic pulse lies a culinary oasis that’s been delighting locals and discerning visitors alike since December 2022.

Welcome to Pure Ultra Lounge, a restaurant that effortlessly combines refined cuisine, masterful cocktails, and a quiet ambiance that soothes the soul.

“In the daytime we seek to offer a casual but unique dining and bar experience, whilst in the nights we aim to cater to a safe and entertaining nightlife experience.

“The idea behind Pure is truly to provide a cosy, yet ‘pure’ entertaining environment,” explained Romario Ramcharan, director, Pure Ultra Lounge.

Upon entering Pure Ultra Lounge, guests are immediately struck by its adherence to a mix of black, grey and metallic accents for its aesthetic charm. The restaurant’s design is a sophisticated blend of modern elegance and cosy warmth. Granite tabletop finishes, ample seating, and urban touches all combine for an inviting atmosphere that allows the taste buds to take over while giving urban, upscale and intimate. Soft lighting and strategically placed greenery lend the space a serene quality, making it the perfect retreat from the city’s hustle.

“We’re a place that allows all to integrate and unwind, whilst enjoying the exquisite atmosphere of upbeat music, shareable savoury foods, and innovative cocktails,” Ramcharan added.

The cocktail menu offerings are masterpieces in glasses and are nothing short of stellar. The bartenders here are true artists, crafting each drink with a precision and creativity that elevate the cocktail experience. Highly requested cocktails include the Head Banger, an adventurous twist of white rum, vodka, gin, triple sec, tequila, coconut rum, strawberry and sweet and sour mix. The Caribbean Breeze is a refreshing delight, with gold rum, apricot liqueur, Schnapps, Grenadine, pineapple, orange and lime juices, all making for innovative concoctions that are as visually striking as they are satisfying.

“Our menu caters to all. We’ve distinguished ourselves by creating a palette that’s both intricate but classic and aesthetically pleasing. Our cuisine consists of a touch of American, French, Italian and Greek, all whilst adding our very own Caribbean touch to each individual dish,” Ramcharan added further.

When it comes to the menu the restaurant doesn’t disappoint. Each dish is a testament to the eatery’s commitment to both quality and creativity. Appetisers include shrimp quesadillas with flour tortilla stuffed with shrimp and cheese and served with sour cream and house salsa (corn, onion, ripe plantain, pineapple), with main course selections such as the Drunken Salmon, a perfectly seasoned filet seared in white wine or booze honey jerk sauce. The menu also includes salads, seafood, wraps, pastas, burgers and dessert options.

“We’re happy with the response and reviews we’ve been getting as we continuously aim to grow and improve on this. Innovation and adaptability continue to be our priorities we seek to be a premium brand and expand to meet our customers’ needs,” Ramcharan concluded.
