JC defeat Excelsior 3-1 in Manning Cup
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Many-time champions Jamaica College (JC) look set to finish top of their group in the ISSA/Digicel Manning Cup after a 3-1 win over hosts Excelsior on Wednesday.
After going into the break with a one goal lead, JC would concede early in the second half as Excelsior’s Kimarley Scott found the equaliser.
However, Javaun Mills and Amarlie King ensured JC finished with three points.
JC now move to 19 points in Zone F, six clear of Excelsior. Excelsior have played one game less but would need to overcome JC’s superior goal difference.
Both teams have already confirmed their spot in the next round.
