Sandals Negril pampers team for International Men’s Day

To celebrate and show appreciation of its male team members, Sandals Negril went the extra mile to honour them on International Men’s Day.

Under the theme Health and Wealth, the men were treated to relaxing spa massages, offering them a chance to unwind and rejuvenate during the day’s festivities.

Adding to the experience, Cary Wiggan, branch manager of Scotiabank in Negril delivered an inspiring and practical message on how men can effectively manage their wealth. He emphasised the importance of life insurance, highlighting that as men, they often carry much of the family’s responsibility as breadwinners.

Wiggan also urged team members to establish an emergency fund, explaining that it acts as a financial safety net in unforeseen circumstances.

Additionally, he touched on the importance of choosing a supportive partner, stating that a good spouse can play a vital role in achieving financial success.

Garfield Blake, the resort’s human resources manager expressed that, “the event was well received. Team members would have gained valuable insights on maintaining a balanced lifestyle, a deeper understanding of financial stability and the importance of securing their future and that of their families. It is important that they feel valued, which is a meaningful gesture for International Men’s Day.”

Throughout the day, the men also participated in engaging activities that fostered a sense of camaraderie and friendly competition. They also had the opportunity to win prizes, bringing the curtains down on a day well appreciated by the team members.
