KINGSTON, Jamaican – A 48-hour curfew has been imposed in several Corporate Area communities.

Early Friday the Jamaica Constabulary Force announced that the communities of 100 Sunrise Crescent, 100 Lane, Park Lane, Red Hills Road, Kingston 19 and a section of White Hall Avenue, St Andrew will be under curfew beginning 6:00 pm on Friday, November 29 until 6:00 pm on Sunday, December 1.

The boundaries of the curfew are:

North: From 100 Sunrise Drive along Sunrise Drive to the intersection of Pennant Terrace and Pennant Drive.

East: From the intersection of Pennant Terrace and Pennant Drive to the intersection of Pennant Drive and White Hall Avenue.

South: From the intersection of Pennant Drive and White Hall Avenue along White Hall Avenue
with an imaginary line to the cul-de-sac of Hill Haven Avenue.

West: From the cul-de-sac of Hill Haven Avenue along Hill Haven Avenue with an imaginary line to 100 Sunrise Drive.

During the hours of the curfew, people within its boundaries are required to remain within their premises, unless otherwise authorised by the ground commander
