In the wake of a major altercation at a popular party over the weekend, music promoter Romeich Major issued a public apology to TikTokers TJ and Moya, who were reportedly injured in the assault.

The two were among several TikTokers who were assaulted and beaten by security personnel during dancer Rebel’s birthday party early Saturday morning at Mas Camp.

“First ting, me apologise to Teejay, and then mi ah go apologise to Moya. Second, mi apologise to the TikTok people who de de a hold a vibe, and third, mi want to apologise to mi fiance and mi family because what I have done, I have seen it hurt a lot of people,” Major said during a live session on a social media platform.

Major, who has been in the eye of a social media firestorm since the incident, has been largely blamed for at least one of the beatings that took place. He also apologised to his marketing and promotional team.

“As a leader, yu haffi be accountable for things you have done or decisions you have made. Nothing that I did on that morning, or that night was correct. it was really a rough night, mi nah gi no excuse, mi nah tek up fi myself at all Mi ah tek the bad vibes, the cussing, the blaming, mi tek all ah that,” he said.

Over the weekend, video footage emerged on social media of the assault. At one point in the video, an individual orders one of his associates to attack someone.

“Guh box him dung nuh,” the voice said. Then a man known as ‘Andre’ -approached the Tik Toker and floored him while other men repeatedly kicked him while he was on the ground.

After the incident, popular dancer Rebel disavowed all knowledge of the attack and condemned the assault. She also demanded a public apology from her manager Romeich because she felt it was unwarranted.

“Mi tell Romeich seh him affi mek a public apology and that is that,” she outlined before detailing that the night was going well prior to the altercations. “Mi really truly sorry seh the night did affi end suh because we did a have so much fun!” said Rebel.
