The Consultancy ‘covers the world’ with Global Board of Directors

Jamaica-based Consultancy Inc has announced the company’s Global Board of Directors comprising senior professionals from key international markets including Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas, which it says further enhances the organisation’s ability to navigate diverse global landscapes.

In a press release, the company noted that in today’s competitive global market, robust governance structures are essential for achieving organisational excellence and long-term success.

It touted itself as one of only a few management consulting firms to successfully expand its footprint across North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific, MENA, and Africa, noting that fewer than 20 per cent of firms achieve this level of global reach.
This milestone, the company said, is reinforced by the strategic appointment of its Board of Directors, which it says strengthens its corporate governance framework and provides robust oversight as the company continues to design and expand its dynamic business ecosystem.

At the helm of the board is Chairperson Priscilla Pyrk Agoncillo, a US-based award-winning business executive and plant medicine advocate who is at the top of the food chain in the fast-emerging cannabis industry. With experience handling all aspects of organisational development and commercial strategy from start-up to acquisition, Agoncillo’s professional skills also include devising strategy, PR and public speaking, business development, marketing/branding, policy and legislation, the release stated.

Heading up the Consultancy’s Africa Division is Dr Jacob Lushinga, an accomplished economist, investment analyst, strategic planner, risk manager and a business and development professional, with over 25 years of working experience, 13 of which were at CEO level. Lushinga has skills in banking, economic research, project management, business planning, mining and energy and project management. His career includes serving as managing director and CEO of the Development Bank of Zambia in Lusaka and as director general and CEO, Zambia Investment Centre (now part of the Zambia Development Agency).

Meanwhile, in India, Priyanka Aksh Sinha, a senior management professional with extensive leadership experience across critical facets of the technology business, including governance, strategy, revenue management, operations and finance, serves on the company’s Global Board. Currently serving as CEO of a leading global tech conglomerate, Sinha is a sterling contributor to the global growth strategy of the group, according to the company, adding that she brings strong people skills, along with a passion for inspirational leadership and hands-on problem solving. Formerly the CEO of Kuya Technologies, India, she holds a MA in economics and a BA in economics, psychology and sociology.

In the meantime, Jamaican Earl Ashley is senior vice president with responsibility for Special Projects at The Consultancy Inc. A results-driven, hands-on’ management professional, he drives operational excellence within the group, the release stated. Combining over 20 years’ experience in project management, value chain development, agri-business, manufacturing, process and operational improvements, Ashley is a self-motivated analytical leader who has brought effective solutions to complex issues such as streamlining workflows for increased efficiency, as well as lead major projects and create enormous cost savings by introducing new methods and thought processes across a wide range of sectors, the company said.

International Business / Organisation Behavior Strategist and Marketing Consultant, Dr Charlene Ashley, operating from the USA and Jamaica, has responsibility for North America, Europe and Rest of World markets at The Consultancy Inc. With over 25 years comprehensive experience in business development, change management and commercial strategy, Dr Charlene Ashley has built an international management consultancy with some 40 consultants / team members representing over 20 cultures across the globe, the release said, noting that she is recognised for developing performance-based, cost-efficient solutions, combined with the ability to incorporate innovative management techniques that result in enhanced business strategies and positive top and bottom line outcomes.
