The Festival of Jazz in the Gardens: The Best of 2024 promises to enchant audiences with the finest soul, jazz, and blues with a hint of reggae. Show time is from 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm on December 29, 2024.

This annual event showcases incredible talent and champions women’s empowerment through its partnership with the Women’s Centre of Jamaica Foundation.

Jazz lovers will revel in an evening of outstanding performances from a star-studded line-up featuring Tammy T’s spellbinding vocals, the iconic melodies of Fab 5, Everton Pessoa and his Big Band’s soulful brilliance, Soulchild Tanice’s velvety tones, and Gem Myers’s dynamic artistry.

This celebration of the island’s rich musical heritage delivers an eclectic mix that will resonate with every generation.

For over 10 years, proceeds from the Festival of Jazz in the Gardens support the Women’s Centre of Jamaica Foundation, an organisation dedicated to uplifting adolescent mothers. The centre provides young women with the resources needed to build brighter, independent futures through education, life skills training, and vocational opportunities.

“Music has the power to unite and transform,” says event organiser Shikima Hinds. “By partnering with the Women’s Centre, the Festival of Jazz in the Gardens transcends entertainment, becoming a platform for meaningful change. Together, we can inspire and support the incredible women in our community.”
