Joy on the waterfront
Led by Urban Development Corporation, the annual concert and fireworks on the waterfront, downtown Kingston, on December 31 was a hit. The event, which ushered in the new year, featured a spectacular display of pyrotechnics at midnight, illuminating the skies over Kingston.
As part of the entertainment package there was also a Kiddies and Vending Village, as well as a street party featuring a line-up of artistes to thrill attendees out to celebrate the dawn of 2025.
Partners included Ministry of Economic Growth and Job Creation, Jamaica Social Investment Fund, Tourism Enhancement Fund, Airports Authority of Jamaica, and CHASE Fund.
