Celebrated celebrity publicist Yvette Noel-Schure, co-founder and chief communications officer of Schure Media Group in New Jersey, USA, arrived in Jamaica last week as the guest of honour for the launch of social impact creator Joel Nomdarkham’s book, Future Makers: A Guide to 30 Creative Careers. The book features 30 Caribbean professionals from various creative disciplines across eight countries, with Noel-Schure contributing the foreword.
Noel-Schure, celebrated for her work with iconic entertainers such as Beyoncé, Prince, and Mariah Carey, was warmly received at a brunch reception at Broken Plate restaurant on January 12. There, she mingled with many of the creatives featured in the book, as well as other key stakeholders.
The following day was action-packed for Noel-Schure, who delivered the keynote address at the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Library, marking the official launch of Future Makers. Later, she visited Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts engaging with students and faculty to inspire the next generation of creatives. Her day culminated with a featured interview hosted by Michelle-Ann Letman, public relations professional and founder of PR Belle Media Limited, during an intimate cocktail event held at the Morgan’s Creek retail store in Sovereign Centre. The conversation focused on women in the creative industries, marketing and communication with Noel-Schure sharing insightful reflections on her journey from growing up in Grenada to becoming a powerhouse publicist in the United States. This inspiring conversation left an indelible mark on all the women in attendance.
