Doctors from some of the top cardiovascular hospitals and universities in the United States — Yale University School of Medicine, Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, American College of Cardiology, and Harvard Medical School, among others — converged at the Jamaica Pegasus Talk of The Town last weekend for the Masters of Medicine ‘Her Heart Matters’ Conference 2025, presented by the Heart Institute of the Caribbean and Yale University’s Cardiovascular Medicine.

And on Saturday, January 18, after a day of exploring the crucial relationship between menopause and women’s heart health with high-impact learning sessions and exchange of ideas, the Heart of Legends Gala was exactly what the doctor prescribed.

The docs were fêted on the East Lawns of Devon House with live performances from reggae singer Duane Stephenson and Bob Marley: One Love actor and reggae artiste Matthew Malcolm, with spectacular sets from DJ Bambino, who by night’s end had everyone stepping on the dance floor.
