BERBICE, Guyana (CMC) — Olympic Kremlin, the crown jewel of Slingerz Stables, was crowned Horse of the Year at the prestigious One Guyana Thoroughbred Racing Awards held here Friday, January 31, 2025.

The Brazilian-bred sensation capped off a flawless 2024 season with the honour, cementing its legacy as one of Guyana’s most dominant thoroughbreds.

The champion’s unbeaten run included commanding victories in the President’s Cup, Guyana Cup, and Showdown of Champions, leaving no doubt about its supremacy on the track.

Slingerz Stables owner Javed Ali was beaming with pride as he declared that the latest accolade is just the beginning of big things to come.
