Local-based promotions company Gangstar Promotions is aiming to combine the best of old school dancehall with edge new-age dancehall acts in an event dubbed ‘Mawch Out’ which will unfold at the Turtle River Park in Ocho Rios, St Ann on Saturday, March 15.

“This year’s staging of the infamous “Mawch Out” will be one to remember. This year has the new school, veterans and marquis acts to entertain our patrons till the close of the show. The aim is to curate an environment that will attract all comers who can party in a secure, and safe space,” said Vivian Thomas, spokesperson for Gangstar Promotions.

The event will showcase superstar talents such as Bounty Killer, Sizzla, and Capleton, while emerging dancehall stars like the charismatic hit maker Stalk Ashley, the controversial Jamal (Dunce Man) and the hard-hitting Sashae, known for her unrivalled rhyming abilities and stage show poise, will also be much-anticipated headliners.

“It will be an event to remember as it will be a collision of the worlds of reggae and the best that dancehall has to offer. Fans will be enchanted by the ambiance of Turtle River Park, Ocho Rios, and patrons can enjoy the best Jamaican cuisine while sipping on some of our favorite Jamaican beverages,” Thomas added.
