Commandant, with champion jockey Raddesh Roman aboard, delivered a dominant performance to capture the feature Alexander Hamilton Memorial Trophy over seven furlongs at Caymanas Park on Saturday. Trained by Rohan Crichton, Commandant, an American-bred five-year-old colt, won the event comfortably by five lengths at odds of 3-5. Inspired Force finished second, while Run Julie Run secured third place at odds of 6-5.

Commandant, who led from gate to wire, was tracked throughout the race by Run Julie Run and Mamma Mia. However, turning for home, Roman urged Commandant to go and the colt responded emphatically, pulling away to dominate the field and win in a time of 1:24.2 minutes.

Social Aviator, with jockey Robert Halledeen in the saddle, produced a brilliant turn of foot in the final furlong to capture The Hot Line Stakes over six furlongs. Trained by champion trainer Jason DaCosta, Social Aviator won the event by one and a half lengths at odds of 2-1, finishing in a time of 1:15.1. Positioned in fourth at the half-mile mark, Social Aviator surged past favourite Danka, who went off at odds of 4-5 with jockey Ismael Velasquez in the final 100 meters to claim victory. Lady Babita, ridden by Tevin Foster, finished third by two and a half lengths.

Jockey Richard Parchment delivered a spectacular stretch run with Honour Prince to win the Sir Howard Stakes for restricted allowance three-year-old horses over six furlongs. Robert Pearson-trained Honour Prince won at odds of 6-1, edging out early leader
Prince Roy, ridden by former champion jockey Reyan Lewis, by three-quarters of a length. Another One, the 3-5 favourite with Shane Ellis aboard, finished third.

Jockey Oniel Mullings emerged as the leading rider of the day with two wins. His first victory came in the fifth race aboard
Big Buzz for trainer Adrian Prince at odds of 4-5. Mullings completed his double by winning the eighth event with She’s Dallas Love at odds of 8-5.
