Shaqstar reflects with Thoughts and Ashes

Dancehall artiste Shaqstar aims to set the tone for the rest of another successful year in the form of a track titled Thoughts and Ashes.

Produced by Rich Energy Music and Deano Deann Records, the track is featured on the Pain To Paper rhythm and is set to be released on March 29.

“This song is reflective; it’s deep thinking about life, about everything while taking a draw of the good old herb,” the artiste explained about the song’s meaning.

Although this is his first time working for the label, the artiste is already looking forward to more amazing projects like this.

So far, the track has been getting the nod of approval from industry insiders who have got the opportunity to hear the song.

“Everyone who has heard the track so far has been giving me love, and that’s an awesome feeling. My hope for this song is for it to reach far. It is positive, and I think it’s something that many people can enjoy,” the artiste added.

In the music game for the past five to six years, the St Thomas-based musician brings a unique, unorthodox style to the airwaves. Choosing topics that resonate the most with music lovers, it’s no surprise that he has so far paved a successful path, aiming to go even higher as time progresses. His past releases include Money Tree, Hennessy Inna Vein, Me Nuh Trust, and
Cold Heart.

More music is on the way, as Shaqstar gears up for the release of a brand new EP slated to be released in May 2025.
