A thought-provoking evening deserves an encore! So Page 2 returns to the Windrush Gardens of the British High Commission in New Kingston for the exclusive screening of the United Kingdom (UK) National Theatre’s production of Small Island, held on Thursday, March 20. The event brought together specially invited guests from the diplomatic corps, business community, and creative industries, who were transfixed by the stage adaptation of the award-winning novel by author Andrea Levy, which showcased the intertwined stories of Jamaican and British individuals during and after World War II. The event not only cemented the enduring ties between Jamaica and the UK, but also honoured the legacy of the Windrush Generation.
