Muschett star Shanoya Douglas lights up Grand Slam Track
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Muschett’s Shanoya Douglas, the Class Two champion, delighted in the high school girls’ 200m at Grand Slam Track, stopping the clock at 23.37 seconds to stamp her class on the event.
Douglas was all alone in a race against the clock, forcing Class One champion Jody-Ann Daley (Hydel), 23.95, to settle for second with another Hydel athlete, Sashana Campbell, 24.02, taking third.
In the boys 200m clash, Sanjay Seymore (William Knibb), the Class One champion, took the win in a close 22.02 clocking, finishing ahead of Vere’s Omar James, 22.04, and Edwin Allen’s Antonio Powell, 22.09.
