“I didn’t enter the hospitality industry by choice, but rather by necessity,” shares Caren Simpson Kerr, principal, SeaSalt Travel, as she puts the finishing touches to one of her preferred villas. Her next stop is the Ian Fleming International Airport where her guests are scheduled to land within the hour. “At 17, like many others my age,” she continues, “I had little idea of what I wanted to do with my life but, within a year of working in the industry, starting at Couples Tower Isle, I had found my calling: Service. The satisfaction that comes from knowing a guest is truly happy with their vacation experience, and knowing I contributed to their perfect vacation, has fuelled my passion to continue on the path of delivering quality service and an experience that is unmatched.”
