Grammy-award-winning artiste Sean Paul is set to join forces with American rapper Whiz Khalifa this summer as they embark on what is expected to be one of the summer’s hottest tours.

According to a release from Sean Paul’s team, the duo will jump-start their Good Vibes Only tour in July. The series will see the entertainers performing some 15 shows across the US, making stops in New Jersey, New York, Ohio, and North Carolina. The pair is also scheduled to make an appearance in Toronto, Canada, on July 18.

The musical showcase is also expected to feature special guest DaBaby as it promises to deliver “a high-octane celebration of rhythm, lyricism, and undeniable energy”.

The artiste was also quoted as outlining that the tour will bring a “wicked mix of sound”.

“There’s no better feeling than connecting with fans live,” Sean Paul said. “Touring with Wiz and DaBaby brings such a wicked mix of sounds — hip-hop, dancehall, and raw energy. This tour is about unity, good vibes, and non-stop vibes all summer long. Trust me, you don’t want to miss this!”

With over 14 billion streams on Spotify, a Grammy win, and a reputation for genre-defining collaborations with the likes of Beyoncé, Dua Lipa, Sia, and J Balvin, Sean Paul’s team said the entertainer has not only pioneered the global dancehall movement but also shaped the sound of modern pop. They expressed that with his influence spanning continents and generations, the Good Vibes Only Tour will offer fans a rare chance to witness his magnetic live performance alongside some of today’s biggest names in music.

The tour is expected to kick off on Sunday, July 6 in New York and end on Sunday, July 27 in Atlanta.
