Recording artiste Crucial Flamez is steadily building his name on the music scene with the release of his most recent single Wuk Fi Pay. The track was officially released on April 11.

“This song is dubbed as a working man’s anthem. It’s a celebration of our exposure, our community, our family, our legacy. Sonically capturing this aspect of our culture is a reminder and serves as a memento for future generations of the innovations and tenacity of those that pave the way for us,” the artiste explained about the song’s meaning.

The song is particularly personal, as it was inspired by an experience the artiste had in Guyana.

“This song was inspired by a recent trip to Guyana. I was sitting where I grew up and observing people going and coming from work. I took a walk down memory lane and I saw how many improvements there were; for example, they were walking on paved roads, while in our times, it was different. Basically, the song came about as an homage to this experience and reflection of that and time for the working society members,” he said.

With the feedback being great so far, the artiste has been working assiduously on perfecting his craft.

“My hope for this track is for it to properly introduce Crucial Flamez’s evolving talent in the recording music space,” the artiste added.

With a passion that was dormant for over 20 years, Crucial Flamez has been actively pursuing music since June 2024, with his first release Happy Weh Wi Deh dropping in September 2024. This was followed by GROOVIN which was released in February 2025.

As this new single continues to gain traction, the artiste has more in store, with new tracks in the works with Alex English, along with his first EP.
