With loans growing by nearly $14b at VM Building Society; the official launch of VM Wealth Funds Ltd in Barbados; the VM Pensions team delivering a 30 per cent rise in operating revenue, reaching $487.54m; VM Money Transfer Services recording a 25 per cent increase in transactions; VM Finance securing expanded funding from the UK banking system; and equally inspiring wins achieved by the team members — 91 VMers securing mortgages from VM Building Society to purchase their own homes and 66 earning well-deserved promotions — there was much to celebrate at the annual I AM VM Awards, held on Saturday, May 3 at the Jamaica Pegasus.
Though the elegance of the Regency Era-inspired Bridgerton series ruled the dress code, it was nothing but good old Jamaican fun as spirited team members cheered each other on, whether for professional achievements or apt fashion choices.
