Sanmerna Foundation director returns to his roots
THE Sanmerna Foundation took the joy of books to the young minds of Balmagie Primary and Tredegar Park Early Childhood Institute on Tuesday as part of its support for Read Across Jamaica
Day.
It was a full-circle moment for director of the Sanmerna Foundation Robert White, alumnus of Balmagie Primary, who returned not just as a reader — but as a leader.
White’s commitment to education and youth development was evident as he read alongside the children and shared in their excitement for learning.
“We extend heartfelt thanks to all our incredible volunteers who gave their time and energy to make this day special. Together, we are building a foundation where every child has the right — and the opportunity — to read, dream, and succeed,” said White.
