KINGSTON, Jamaica — The police are now investigating viral videos which depict a female nurse being assaulted by a man along a road.

The location and circumstances leading up to the incident are currently unknown, however, unconfirmed reports are that the attack was a case of road rage.

In one of the videos making its rounds on social media, a shirtless, fair-skinned man and a woman dressed in a nurse uniform are observed near a vehicle in a physical altercation. A second man, dressed in a white merino and shorts, then attempts to intervene, but the attacker continues his assault, eventually flipping the nurse to the ground.

The fight then goes out of frame and a third man in a blue shirt and jeans appears.

In another video, the situation escalates, with the nurse lying on the ground as the man steps on her head while brandishing an object which appears to be a gun. One of the onlookers can be heard urging the attacker to stop, while the nurse, clearly distressed, pleads, “Weh mi duh yuh?”

The constabulary’s Corporate Communications Network said the police are aware of the video and are investigating the circumstances
