The team came from behind to beat Steer Town 2-1 in their Zone B game played at Drax Hall on Monday.
The win pushed Black Stars to 12 points and means they will finish in the top two in the zone.
Rohan Hall scored a double to lead the team, as all three goals in the game came in a six-minute burst late in the first half.
Rory Henry gave Steer Town the lead in the 38th minute, but Hall drew Black Stars level in the 41st minute, then put them ahead in the 43rd minute.
In the other game played on Monday, Shamar Blake scored a double as Exchange United won their first game of the season, upsetting former champions Madras FC 2-1, effectively ending their season.
Blake scored in the 61st and 76th minutes before Xavier James got a consolation goal for Madras FC five minutes into time added.
