Moneague book spot in St Ann Major League semis
ST ANN, Jamaica – Moneague FC secured their place in the semi-finals of the St Ann Football Association Major League after playing out a 1-1 draw against Zone B leaders Black Stars at Drax Hall on Thursday.
The point was enough for Moneague FC to improve to 10 points and join Black Stars in the semi-final.
Black Stars, who were dropping points for the first time this season, had booked their spot earlier and finished their first round schedule with 13 points.
Black Stars took the lead in the 13th minute when Shamari Haughton scored his first goal of the season but Rushane Jarrett scored his second goal of the season in the 86th minute to rescue a point for Moneague FC.
