Daneon Parchment to officiate in two Concacaf tournaments
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Jamaica’s Daneon Parchment has been appointed to officiate in two upcoming Concacaf tournaments, starting Thursday, May 29, and running through to mid-June, it was announced.
Parchment, who was one of the video assistant referee (VAR) operators at last year’s Olympic Games in Paris, has been named to officiate at the Women’s Under 20 in Costa Rica and the Gold Cup, which will be held across three countries, Canada, the USA and Mexico.
He will be joined in Costa Rica by Stephanie Dale Yee Sing, Neressa Goldson and Jassett Kerr-Wilson for the Concacaf Women’s U20 Championship, which will run from May 29 to June 8.
The other Jamaican officials named for the Gold Cup are Oshane Nation, Ojay Duhaney and Steffon Dewar for the tournament that will run from June 7 to 11.
