Little Caesars delivers $2.5-million sponsorship to Prep Champs 2025
Little Caesars has announced a $2.5-million sponsorship as gold sponsor of the 2025 Jamaica Independent Schools Association (JISA) Preparatory Championships, which it says reaffirms an ongoing investment in youth development through sport.
Now in its sixth consecutive year of partnership with JISA, Little Caesars will support the staging of the annual Prep Champs, set for June 12 to 14 at the National Stadium. The event draws top young athletes from preparatory schools across the island and is widely regarded as a foundational step in Jamaica’s track and field pipeline.
“Every race run, every jump made, every cheer shouted helps to build not only great athletes but strong, confident individuals,” said Tiffany Wiggan, senior brand manager at Little Caesars, speaking at the event launch at Sts Peter and Paul Preparatory. “Nation-building is at the heart of what we do, and there is no better way to build a strong future than by investing in our children.”
JISA President Tamara McKenzie welcomed the continued support, noting the impact of corporate partners on access and quality.
“Sponsors like Little Caesars are critical to the feasibility of the championship, especially for smaller schools. Beyond the financial support, they help create an inclusive, high-energy environment for every student who attends,” she said.
The Prep Champs have produced over eight Olympians and continue to serve as a springboard for young talent. Last year’s champions, Sts Peter and Paul Prep, are preparing to defend their title, with Head Coach Jerome Kirby highlighting the role sponsorship plays in motivation.
“The students look forward to the Little Caesars excitement and treats. It gives them that extra push,” he said.
Little Caesars’ support will include event-day activations such as branded races, giveaways, and a half-time show. The brand is also expected to have a strong presence throughout the three-day championship, reinforcing its message: “Pizza pizza and proud partner of champions.”
