Musk alleges Trump included in Epstein files
WASHINGTON, United States — Elon Musk on Thursday alleged that Donald Trump is included in the Epstein files during a shocking spat between the business mogul and the United States president that played out on social media.
“Time to drop the really big bomb: @realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!” Musk posted on his X social media platform.
The ‘Epstein files’ is the name given to the files, videos and other evidence gathered for use in the cases against disgraced entertainment mogul Jeffery Epstein.
He was charged with sex trafficking of minors and conspiracy to commit sex trafficking of minors in 2019.
A report from Fox News indicated that many court documents, used in past cases in 2008 and the 2019 charges in New York, have been made public, but others remain sealed or redacted, numbering in the thousands.
It indicated that Attorney General Pam Bondi has said materials will be released once redactions are made to protect victims and ongoing investigations.
“Mark this post for the future. The truth will come out,” Musk added, without providing proof behind his accusations, and furthering the spat between the president and his former top advisor.
After a stunning victory with a campaign largely financed by Musk, Trump named the SpaceX and Tesla boss as his head of Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) just after being inaugurated.
The stint only lasted 130 days as DOGE faced pushback from the Judiciary, members of the legislature, and the public while his businesses came under strain.

The two men are now publicly feuding, with Trump threatening to cut Musk’s government contracts and claiming that Musk ‘went crazy’ after the president cancelled electric vehicle mandates.
