One injured after truck overturns on Edward Seaga Highway

KINGSTON, Jamaica – The Jamaica Fire Brigade has confirmed that one person was injured during an accident on the Edward Seaga Highway on Wednesday.

In a video circulating on social media, an overturned truck can be seen on a Jamaica North-South Highway Company Limited (JNSHC) patrol vehicle.

Kevin Haughton, acting commissioner for the Jamaica Fire Brigade confirmed with Observer Online that the brigade responded to the incident and “one person was excavated out of one of the vehicles involved and was transported to hospital by our ambulance.”

Haughton disclosed that the bridgade received a call about around 12:39 pm and subsequently reported to the scene.
