Fried Chicken, Rice & Peas with Cowfoot & Beans Gravy
M10’s Crispy and Golden Fried Chicken is a seven-day-a-week menu staple. This well-loved classic is most popularly accompanied by a side of rice and peas, with another type of meat gravy; for example, curry goat.
While I also love curry gravy, especially goat, which was available, I could not resist the cowfoot and beans gravy, which is only available on the Tuesday menu. A few words came to mind and resonated with me as I sat alone and dined after a very successful business meeting in the neighbourhood, comfort (food), warmth (literally) and satisfaction (exceeding my expectation and fulfilling my gastronomical craving).
There isn’t much more to say about this meal as it is perfection…perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked, perfectly consistent, and well-priced! It is a must-try. You may thank me later!
