Page 2 continues its recognition of members of the business community who convened at the Jamaica Pegasus hotel on Thursday, June 12 for the 40th Annual Jamaica Chamber of Commerce (JCC) Awards Banquet. Highlighting their vital role in Jamaica’s economic future, keynote speaker, minister without portfolio for efficiency, innovation, and digital transformation Audrey Marks commended the awardees on their success, while imploring the JCC to consistently invest in the bold minds that embody the country’s entrepreneurial spirit.

“Please continue to nurture that spirit. Let us invest in it, educate it, mentor it, and showcase it, because the next tech genius could be a young Jamaican right now with nothing but a laptop and a dream,” Marks said.
