Double Seven energises Racers Grand Prix
Double Seven Energy Drink completed its second year as partner of the Racers Grand Prix.
The company says its involvement in the annual event aligns with its core principle of championing Jamaican talent.
“Our involvement in the Racers Grand Prix reflects our belief in the power of sport, particularly athletics, which holds a special place in the hearts of Jamaicans, to unite communities, inspire the next generation, and represent our country on the global stage,” Senior Brand Manager Bobette Bolton said. “Partnering with the Racers Grand Prix aligns with Double Seven’s mission to champion Jamaican potential, and we are proud to play a role in fostering national pride and progress through this esteemed event.
Bolton explained her company’s decision to support the athletes who compete at the event.
“Double Seven, proudly distributed by Chas E Ramson, is deeply committed to supporting initiatives that celebrate Jamaican excellence and contribute to the development of our nation’s culture and sports. Chas E Ramson, as a home-grown company, recognises the importance of standing alongside other local enterprises to uplift and invest in platforms that showcase Jamaica’s world-class talent.”
Leading up the Racers Grand Prix on June 7, Double Seven rolled out a series of dynamic pop-up activations in and around the Corporate Area, which were designed to engage the public and build anticipation for the event. They did ticket and product giveaways, as well as interactive activities that allowed fans to truly catch the Racers Grand Prix vibe.
“We were also thrilled to be a part of the Athletes’ Welcome Party at the Jamaica Pegasus hotel, an exciting celebration of the world-class talent participating in the event,” Bolton said. “Double Seven brought the energy, with our very own DJ Lollipop setting the tone as the official DJ, and a standout performance by our brand ambassador, Jah Vinci, which helped make the night unforgettable. At the event itself, we continued to amplify the experience with an engaging brand booth that offered product sampling, giveaways, and fun brand interactions, all in celebration of Jamaican sports, culture, and community.” Bolton reflected on the partnership.
“Our second-year partnering with the Racers Grand Prix was both rewarding and impactful,” she said. “The experience reaffirmed our commitment to supporting events that not only celebrate Jamaican athletic excellence but also bring communities together through culture, energy, and national pride. The growth in fan engagement and the positive response to our activations reflect the strength of the partnership and the alignment of our brand values with the spirit of the event. Looking ahead, we are certainly open to continuing this partnership. We see great value in supporting platforms that elevate Jamaican talent and resonate so deeply with our consumers. We are proud of the role we’ve played thus far and look forward to exploring even more meaningful ways to engage and contribute in the future.”
