FRi~NALLY heads to Ocho Rios on Friday with Jahvillani, Pablo YG
KINGSTON, Jamaica — For the second time in its six-year existence, the popular weekly series Campari Fri~NALLY will head to Ocho Rios and bring its usual high energy experience to partygoers this Friday, June 27.
With entertainers Jahvillani and Pablo YG as hosts, the event takes place at the Kaya Herb House in Drax Hall, St Ann.
Additionally, party music will be provided by Coppershot’s Marc Chin and Cyclone, as well as St Ann’s in-demand DJ Ashile. Shanice Mitchell, brand activator for Campari, highlighted the collaboration between the event and Campari.
“The collaboration between Campari and the Fri~NALLY team has been nothing short of remarkable. We take immense pride in associating with such dedicated and reliable partners. Together, we continuously explore innovative ways to enhance brand visibility and awareness.
While partying responsibly, patrons can enjoy Campari drink specials throughout the night,” Mitchell.
Daniel Wong, co-promoter of Fri~NALLY, said the association between Fri~NALLY and Campari has been smooth over the years.
“We understand each other and how we can help each other to grow in our respective industries. Campari is one of Jamaica’s top liquor brands and they have evolved from being only seen as a drink of choice within the local bar bars of Jamaica to a top choice among many partygoers especially when it comes to cocktails. Campari saw the vision we had with the event and has played an integral role from our inception and why we are now known as Kingston’s Hottest Friday Night Party Series,” said Wong.
This is the second time that Fri~NALLY has stepped outside of the Corporate Area.
“The brand has grown tremendously over the past few years, and we have been getting many requests from other parishes about when we will be heading their way as well,” said Wong.
Dominic Bell, communications manager at J Wray and Nephew Limited, distributors of Campari, said Ochio Rios patrons are in for lots of surprises at Fri~NALLY’s Ocho Rios staging.
“The first time Campari Fri~NALLY ventured outside of Kingston was around this time last year in Ocho Rios and despite a few challenges faced from Hurricane Beryl, the energy and vibe from the Ochi partygoers were unmatched. Notwithstanding the fact that Ocho Rios is now a 45-minute drive from Kingston, we only saw it fit to give the Ocho Rios partygoers another spectacular Campari Fri~NALLY experience, this one coming with a “host” of surprises that we are sure the Ochi natives will love,” Bell disclosed.
Wong shared what patrons can expect on Friday night.
“Come Friday, Campari Fri~NALLY will be “Crossing Di Toll” because a Ochi Wi Seh!. This staging will be considered our 2nd ‘specialty event’ for the year and we plan to execute a fun-filled, high energy experience as we normally do. Patrons will be treated to a night of RumPari Mixed Drink specials (Campari+Wray Rum+Ting) throughout the night along with other Campari bar deals. Patrons will also be able to party with Ochi’s very own dancehall superstars Jahvillani and Pablo YG who are scheduled to host the night. And for those who like to come out a little bit later than others, we have secured permission to end the event at 4:00am,” said Wong.
