Geo Lyrical, Jevii team up for Future Life
Topalone, Amiere Records pushing the culture forward
Independent label Topalone Records is making waves with the release of Future Life, a fresh dancehall single featuring rising Jamaican artistes Geo Lyrical and Jevii.
At a time when much of the genre is dominated by themes of rivalry, materialism, and fast living, Future Life stands out as empowering and dedicated to hustle, ambition, and belief in one’s purpose.
Topalone leads the charge on this track. He’s a highly respected dancehall producer, composer, and engineer who has worked with some of Jamaica’s biggest and most promising rising stars. Known for his high-calibre sound and sharp creative vision, his influence is felt throughout the record.
He believes Future Life is a message to youth across Jamaica and the wider Caribbean diaspora that their circumstances don’t define their potential.
Both Geo Lyrical and Jevii represent a new class of Jamaican artistes. With distinctive vocal styles and sharp lyrical delivery, their performances on Future Life offer a dynamic blend of substance and energy. It’s the kind of record that connects with a wide audience from high school students trying to find their purpose, to young people on the come-up, and dancehall fans just looking for something real in today’s music landscape.
Future Life also marks the first official collaboration between Amiere Records and Topalone Records — two independent Jamaican-led labels pushing the culture forward.
The Bougie Brat (Kimberly Rhoden), who serves as the CEO and lead producer of Amiere Records, brought her signature ear and creative input to the project. Known for her sharp attention to detail and background in business and marketing, she is quietly helping shape the next era of dancehall music from behind the scenes.
“This is the kind of song I love to see coming out of Jamaica right now,” says The Bougie Brat. “It reminds people that we have the power to shape our own future through creativity, through intention, and through collaboration.”
She said as a black woman-owned music label, Amiere Records is committed to building lasting infrastructure and opportunities for Caribbean creatives. This project reflects that mission bridging sound, story, and purpose across labels, genres, and generations.
The official music video for Future Life is currently in post-production and expected to drop within the upcoming weeks. Shot on location right here in Jamaica, the visuals will capture the spirit of the song while highlighting local talent and locations, bringing even more attention to the track’s message of possibility and purpose.
It is available now on all major platforms: Spotify, Apple Music, Audiomack, and YouTube.
