Exciting line-up set for Caymanas Park feature events on Saturday
Caymanas Park is set for an action-packed day of racing on Saturday, with eight runners down to contest the feature event, the Good Prospect Trophy, and 11 more entered for the co-feature Henry George Harrison Sr Memorial Cup. Both races will be run over six and a half furlongs.
Topping the line-up for the Good Prospect Trophy is Woman In Love, who will be partnered by champion jockey Raddesh Roman. The consistent filly is expected to deliver another strong performance and starts as one of the favourites for the event.
She will face stiff competition from Enthusiasm, to be ridden by top reinsman Omar Walker, and Kimuchi, who gets the apprentice claim with Emielo McLean aboard. Both horses have shown promising form in recent starts and are expected to make their presence felt.
The rest of the field includes Riley J, Cosalivin, Khaleesi, Native Flyer, and Simply Enchanting, all of whom are capable of putting in a surprise performance in what promises to be a competitive race.
Meanwhile, the co-feature Henry George Harrison Sr Memorial Cup has attracted a full field of 11 runners. That contest also spans six and a half furlongs and will serve as a solid supporting event on the afternoon’s card.
Post time for the first race on Saturday is set for 11:50 am.
