Recording artiste Royal Blu will host an invite-only album-listening experience for his long-awaited debut project, Spain Root, today, Friday, June 27, 2025.

The three-hour engagement of music and meaning will be held at the legendary Harry J Recording Studio commencing at 8:00 pm.

The event promises to be an immersive musical journey through the soul and soil of Spanish Town — Royal Blu’s hometown and the heart of this bold, 14-track storytelling project.

Spain Root is an anthem of identity. From love stories and hard truths to uplifting moments grounded in hope and spiritual clarity, the album opens with a powerful invocation on track one, titled Spain Root”, where a heartfelt prayer from Royal Blu’s mother, Eileen Francis, sets the tone for the journey ahead. Throughout the album her continuous prayers provide a grounding for each song.

Spain Root was recorded at the Harry J Recording Studio and flows like a chapter in the evolving narrative of Royal Blu’s life and community.

“This album is my love letter to where I’m from, to the roots that shaped me,” shared Royal Blu. “To bring it to life in a space like Harry J, with the people who’ve supported me on this path, is a full-circle blessing. I’m just grateful and elated for everyone to hear it.”

Executive producer credits go to GWav —a collaborative unit of Sean-Michael “Royal Blu” Francis, Kerron “KaleX” Alexander, Aundre “RiddimBoss” Edwards, and Romario “Runkus” Bennett.

The project features powerful collaborations with reggae heavyweights Protoje, Kabaka Pyramid, Dyani, and the soulful emerging female singer Akina Eman.
