As part of its ongoing commitment to community well-being Scotiabank hosted a blood drive, in partnership with the National Blood Transfusion Service (NBTS), on Thursday, June 19 at Scotia Centre in downtown Kingston. This life-saving initiative included support from Scotiabank staff, Scotiabank clients, and staff from neighbouring organisations. This initiative reflects Scotiabank’s broader mission to impact communities beyond financial services. In addition to boosting the NBTS’s critical blood supply, the bank hopes to encourage and promote the culture and practise of donating blood regularly. Here are highlights of the day’s proceedings:
