Grammy-nominated producer Triple L has remained true to his mission to create music that represents authentic Jamaican culture.

“My ability to create authentic reggae music comes mostly in my sleep or when I’m down or experiences from the community and my surroundings. I stay up spending hours recording or finding new sounds to make the music that fit the souls for the people or fans who can relate to both our reggae and dancehall. My production are mostly live music; give thanks to Kirkledove and Warrior Band who help to process my vision to reality… Big up my team, Rohan and Clint,” the producer said, adding that he has to resonate deeply with his productions in order to execute them.

Triple L (given name Orville Stoddart) is the man behind many crowd favourites like Nosey Neighbour (Dexta Daps featuring Ikaya),
9Life and On My Knees (Tanya Stephens), and Made For Battle (Hezron featuring Turbulence). He has worked with a slew of other acts such as: Louie Culture, Kabaka Pyramid, and Shane O.

One of his latest productions, Long Dingy Dong Ding by is positioned to do well this summer, and beyond.

“The streets love it so much. It has set a change-forward in dancehall that was missing; the original way when man and woman used to dance together with that authentic, real dancehall music.The people are loving it. The feedback is phenomenal at major event. Everyone [is] saying it’s a hit…nothing can’t stop it. Ladies go crazy whenever it comes on at a party,” the Trench Town-born producer said.

Triple L is encouraging the younger generation to take great care when working on any project to endure the highest quality.

“My advice is stay focused. Don’t rush; take your time on everything you do both in recording and production. Notice all the details. Make sure there are great elements in the music, as well,” he continued.
