Police release sketch of suspect in $7 million robbery

ST JAMES, Jamaica — The St James police have released a composite sketch of a man who they believe was involved in a $7 million robbery at the intersection of Upper Bevin Avenue and Market Circle in Montego Bay, St James last month.

Reports from lawmen are that on Tuesday, June 24, at 8:30 pm, two men armed with handguns stopped and robbed a motor truck of approximately $7 million before fleeing on foot in the area.

The matter was reported to the police, and based on descriptions given, a composite sketch of one of the men was generated.

He is being asked to turn himself in to the Montego Bay Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) or any police station immediately.
