Pablo YG teams up with Gad Records for new track
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Dancehall artiste Pablo YG has released a track just in time for summer, titled Matic.
Released on July 4, the song was produced by Crocs under his Gad Records label. It was composed by IamWavMixed, and mastered by Chamblah Music. The accompanying music video was shot in Atlanta, Georgia, by Damaniac Visualz and promises to bring the energy of the song to life.
“My goal with this song is to take it to the highest level possible. Pablo YG is a talented artiste so I know the fans will love it,” the producer said.
The track is featured on the One Crocs Riddim, which features six other tracks. The first track on the riddim, Fast Life by CashFlow7Days, was released in July 2024, and the other songs will be released over the next few weeks, following Matic.
Born Andre Allen in Kingston, the producer is now based in Miami, Florida and has been operating Gad Records for the past five years. He has worked on some very notable projects, such as Jahvillani’s Escobar, which he executive produced, and Trance 1GOV’s 100K.
“The process of creating the track was promising, as it was a seamless experience working with Pablo YG, who is known for tracks such as Rich N Richer, Gyal Magnet, Radar and Exam. This new track is touted to be an explosive song for the summer,” the producer added.
More releases are expected to make their debut this year, courtesy of Gad Records.
“The videos have been done, so we are spacing out the releases to drop a different song on the riddim week. We’re spacing out the releases to keep the momentum going so you can look out for what’s next,” the producer said.
