Teen among two killed in bizarre Hanover motorcycle crash
HANOVER, Jamaica — A teenage boy is among two males who lost their lives in a bizarre head-on collision involving two motorcycles on the Hanover roadway Thursday evening.
The deceased have been identified as 15-year-old Shadore Patterson and 38-year-old Zesha Mondell, both of Orange Bay, Hanover.
Reports from the Hanover police indicate that around 6:30 pm, both Patterson and Mondell were driving their motorcycles along Wharf Road in Orange Bay when the incident occurred. Mondell, who was travelling from Longwood towards Orange Bay, reportedly overtook a motorcar and collided head-on with Patterson.
Both men were thrown from their motorcycles and sustained severe injuries. They were transported to hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
The Hanover police are investigating the incident.
