Gujurat, Miss Cookie win second quarter of tipsters’ competition
In a thrilling conclusion to the second quarter of the 2025 Capital Betting and Wagering Limited/Jamaica Observer Tipsters’ Competition, Anthony “Gujurat” Allen and Bernadette “Miss Cookie” Bishope emerged as the top performers, each claiming a prize of $20,000.
The impressive performances of the two in their respective categories left the competition in the dust, showcasing their expertise and luck in the world of tipping and wagering.
Gujurat dominated the Most Wins category with an impressive 139 winners, edging out Garfield Robinson (Santa) by a narrow margin of four wins. Miss Cookie and Donald Bahadur (Sir Donald) were next, both on 134 winners each, while Ruddy Allen (Kool Kat) finished in fifth place on 132 winners. The other tipsters were Jason Duncan (Jahson – 127 winners), Sherdon Cowan (The General – 121 winners), Kingsley Gentles (The Genius – 117 winners), and Robert Bailey (Bailey – 112 winners).
Miss Cookie, on the other hand, shone brightly in the Monetary category, accumulating a staggering $34,006. The Monetary category was closely contested, with Miss Cookie and The General producing winning bets at crucial points throughout the quarter. However, Miss Cookie’s strong performance and savvy betting decisions ultimately earned her the top spot, narrowly edging out The General’s $29,922.
